Ty QuickDrawDude! PA used to give us 10 minutes too...now they say tickets

cannot be cancelled and suggest everyone use slips.

Indiana cut off is ten minutes before drawing. Daily draw games are ball except for the Pick 10 which is RNG. The Hoosier Lottery gives retailers ten minutes to void unwanted tickets.

Exactly helpme...you are right, when they say the machine is down or it's offline,

someone doesn't want to deal with it. Some don't even want to check if it's up again

when they say it's been down all day.

Find the good people and try and go to those stores. Those bad clerks are bad luck

i been to the store and they say the lottery machine is off/ i think they just didn't want to mess with the ticket sales.

then i have been to stores and the ticket was marked for the next day so who knows what's going on there.

Ty Long Odds!...I see they extend the cut off, that's tricky because it

looks like they're overlapping. I'm sure the times never do extend into

draw time but I know what you mean. (Someone could be talking to

someone else at the machine while watching the drawing and say..it

was xxx play it!)

I've seen this leeway in PA - it's especially strict at night but

day-time I've been able to play at different times later than 1:03 by a

New York Numbers (Pick 3) and Pick 4. Balls for all drawings

Midday: Cutoff time: 12:19:59, Draw Time 12:29 (NYL gives a range from 12:20 to 12:30, most drawings approx. 12:29).

Evening: Cutoff: 7:29:59, Draw Time 7:36 (NYL gives a range from 7:30 to 7:40, but drawings almost always occur at 7:36).

That seems reasonable too. A 5 minute gap as opposed to a 30 minute or

an hour gap I'm much more comfortable with. There's a nagging feeling about

the length of time between cut off and draw and it being too long...I can imagine

there are preparations, but what? Pre-draws for some I'd imagine maybe. I'll have

to ask PA if they do them, I believe they do but I'll see what they say. Ty

Ty king...interesting, I believe your Take 5 might be like our Cash 5, that's

drawn at night, balls but in the 3 or so minute window. I think I realized

something about the ball draws here, they at least seem more reliable

or trustworthy being that they're done without much, if any time to tamper

with results. I can't say the same about the RNG. Todd would like that.

Maryland Mid draw is at 12:28. Eve is at 7:56. Cut off is 5 minutes before the drawings. These are both ball draws.

So far I'm surprised with PA's night time cut off..like 30 seconds before lol..more

like a few minutes maybe but compared to just your draw and king's so far, it's pretty

quick.

Just wanted to show that it isn't only RNG's that have long wait times.

NY's Pick 5 (Take5) has a 21 minute window (11:00 PM cut off, 11:21 PM drawing.) and it's balled. The NY lottery website isn't saying when the cut off is for the other NY daily games and i don't play them.

Not sure on Michigan cut off time, I think 7:09 for a 7:29 draw. 20 minutes.

Ty Kingofearth. You have an hour before draw time. PA has a 30 gap in the day draw

between cut off and draw time...I though 30 was bad.

I'm trying to get an idea of how much time each state needs to prepare.

What they're doing in that time, I don't know.
