A 12th star is added from September 24th on.

9 stars were playable with a big budget. After that, it became more luck than skill.

They must think that they are in the USA and not in Europe.

The cost of playing Euromillions is to increase to 2.50 a line.

In addition, players must choose from an extra number under changes that will decrease the odds of winning the jackpot but promise bigger prizes and double the number of UK millionaires.

Camelot, the UK National Lottery operator, one of the 10 operators of the European-wide game, announced the price of a line will go up by 50p to 2.50 from September to reflect all of the community-wide and UK-only enhancements and up to Euros

The wicked witch of the west is increasing the price of a ticket and increasing the star (ball) pool. However, other news in the Land of Euro is the jackpot is capped for four draws (an increase and seems like quite a few) at about 157m and if not won rolled down to be shared. Also, a lot of people factor in those second tier prizes and this has better odds. High jackpots with numerous rollovers seem to be the norm when changes are made and can't say I like it.

I was looking to buy a ticket or two this week but this news has just deflated any 'lotto fever' I had.. was looking forward to playing again too!

Might have a look see what the UK Lotto is at.... hopefully the JP is high

Not only is the price increasing, but they are changing the game's matrix to make it harder to win. Also claiming to make more millionaires.

The price is raising from 2 to 2.5 euros.
