It has happened to California Super Lotto Plus twice (Once in March 2003 and again in December 26, 2015 to January 2, 2016).

I wonder if this is the first time a draw game jackpot has been won with a three consecutive number string?

It would be a real shame if both of those winning tickets were QPs. With sales being very low (because of the starting JP amount) put the odds of 'randomly generating' 2 JP winners at staggering odds - up in the billions.

Kind of a kick in the groin, having to split the starting JP. It's barely over the amount for hitting 5+0 with a 5x megaplier.

I believe that's the first time the Mega Millions jackpot was won in back-to-back draws under the current incarnation of the game. Also, only the third time a minimum jackpot was won in the current incarnation - the $25 million won last Tuesday was a two-roll minimum, and a one-roll minimum of $20 million was won on March 25, 2014.

The usamega home page says that no one won it..and then the drawing details show that there were winners, but also says that no one won it. Someone made a lot of big mistakes with this drawing on the usamega section of LP.
