Yes. The odds are a joke. the last scratcher i played hardcore was the $10 1 million fortune. when the odds for the jackpot was 1:1 million. also there were more jackpots..now they only have like 5 top prizes LOL.

I stopped playing scratchers. The odds and prizes stink including the second chance prizes.

i still play but i notice the odds keep on getting worse.

the average jackpot for a 10$ ticket for a grand prize of one million dollar win used to be

1:1,200,000

now the all of them except one are 1:2,400,000

before the 2nd chance replay used to give away one of the grand prizes at the end of the game. now its small prizes ranging from 2 25 thousand winners and the rest smaller amount winners. Wack. I dont even put them in anymore. They know not many people look at the o... [ More ]

I don't know much about the California lottery, but a recurring trend that I seem to see is that lotteries across the nation seem to be paying out less. My guess is they realized they could generate more revenue, and increase gameplay through certain tactics.

People who played the Florida Lottery always seem to provide anecdotes of all the times they've hit big prizes $500+ prior to 2010. I don't think it is just the California lottery, but scratchoffs in general seem to be sharing this... [ More ]

California's scratch-off tickets have become a scam. What happened to the tickets with the three letters? I would hit on those with regularity. The tickets they use now with the PDF417 bar code are a joke. I've hit for $100 or more three times since they started using the ones they use presently, two $100 winner's from $10 tickets and one $500 winner from a $5 ticket.
