I have a small amount set aside in my budget to play the lottery.

I don't play every draw. however I play multiple type games.

so it depends on what I have played earlier in the pay period.

usually I don't play more than 5 lines in any one drawing.

It depends on the draw. the cost, the odds. PB and MM i have a share in 1 ticket ea. my aust draws, usually 8 per entry, so as to cover ea number once. also to match costs with my american friend , so as we're spending similar dollars. but i dont buy every draw here, local high odds i wait till the prize is $10M

I used to play in Group Play. So I am playing with a huge amount of tickets. For example with 200 tickets for one draw and the price is really amazing.

C4L 1 line for every draw.

LFL 1 line for 10 advance draws when ever I go to Delaware

Jerseycash5 for 1 line whenever it's over $300,000

Pic6 for 1 line whenever CV is over $3.5 mil

1 line MM and/or PB whenever it's in record territory and I'm in anonymous territory.

Well, with due respect, I believe that 'frequency of the hit' comes into play here. If a player is trying to play and hit after every last draw result, then I personally believe it's a dead end and that's not a bump on anyone, okay. I like to play D4 but I don't too much anymore because it's a bugger to hit straight. And frankly, 5 grand really isn't enough $$$ to do what I need. I've played $5 straight for $25k occasionally, never could hit, but again, $25k isn't enough either.

l decided at the last minute to purchase an extra PB ticket tonight- so l got three instead of the 2. l also bought 5 super lotto tickets,generally l would buy 2 as well. Yeah l know, but l figure that since l don't smoke- that's the price of a packet of cigarettes right there or is it? Either way you look at it- its all smoke if l don't win. But l forge ahead regardless.

I only regularly play the Texas Lotto. Odds on the PB and MM are just too astronomical for me to believe that I could win. I wouldn't need that much money anyway. For each TL drawing I buy one ticket for each million in cash value. The jackpot starts at 5 million (about 3 cash option), so I buy 3 tickets per drawing. I had 2 mega millions for last night that I had bought a couple of days before. Anyways, I went to the store last night to grab 2 powerballs for tonight and went ahead and purchased a 3rd mega millions ticket for Friday's draw. Needless to say, I had zero matches on the first two tickets and won my dollar back by matching the mega ball on the 3rd. You just never know. In that case, stick to the plan. Get group play tickets and save your money not buying any extra. You get three chances for your one dollar and get 1/3 of any winnings.

I understand those concerns. However, one of those two people I play with is like a brother to me. I am actually the one that holds our lottery tickets 90% of the time as he gives me money to buy his part and I get them. The other person is a friend of mine and he actually agreed to a lesser share if we win and portioning us out that same share if he is the winner. I work with him and trust him. A solution to that problem is for each of you to take turns buying a 3 game ticket. That way, the 3 game ticket is for the group and any other tickets purchased individually would not be considered group tickets.

It may cause you to lose two friends if you win on your ticket(s) and don't share with them.

Most of the time I buy 3 tickets per draw say on MM and PB. I don't play every draw just a couple of times each month. I haven't played too much megaplier/multiplier, I forget is it $1 extra dollar per ticket so if you have 3 tickets it's' a dollar extra more each? So if you bought $3 in MM and wanted to add megaplier/multiplier for each ticket it would $6 total

I play with 2 friends and each of us usually buys one ticket apiece for each MM and PB draw. Now, I oftentimes buy more than one but for us to split the money as we have previously agreed to, each person must buy one ticket. I tell myself to just get one ticket per draw but it is tough.

Generally 2 each for both PB MM. l only play our Superlotto Plus game when it gets over $15 mil . This may sound strange but even with better odds, SLP rarely gives me anything back, however PB does from time to time- small stuff, nothing to call grandma about. Perhaps this is fortuitous of me winning the PB jackpot.

For games like powerball and mega millions, when I play, I usually only buy one ticket. For games with lower odds, like Wisconsin supercash, I usually run my numbers (which I change daily depending the the previous days draw) multiple times. The jackpot is 350K and they allow up to 20 winners per day.

Some people buy one ticket for each drawing. Some people buy multiple tickets for each drawing. Some people wait until the jackpot is over a certain amount before buying tickets.

What games do you buy tickets for and how many do you buy?

It takes only ONE ticket to win.

I buy 1 MM, 1 PB, 1 NY Lotto, and 1 C4L. Sometimes I will buy a Take5 (1/39) or Pick 10 (keno type game 6-10/80). I don't usually play pick 3 or pick 4.
