Eureka, I've finally remembered who the old man was and what show he was in - Fyvush Finkel in Boston Public 2000-2004. He died last month, aged 93.

I watched it on fastforward. I never buy tickets in a lottery which uses a computer to select the winning numbers. If it doesn't have balls I won't play it.

It was just a joke; Kyle Chandler, the main character in Early Edition, went on to star as a coach in Friday Night Lights, the show that revolved around a Texas H.S. football team. It's like the meme that was going around when Breaking Bad was on, that the dad (Bryan Cranston) on Malcolm in the Middle later became a meth cook. Coincidentally, Jesse Plimpton was in FNL as well as BB.

Haha interesting take on the fixing of a lottery drawing.. Sometimes i do wonder if the lottery could be rigged like in this show where they look for the unmatched combos just minutes before the draw as anything is possible.. Interesting enough in reality I felt i tested this theory during the billion dollar powerball mid January where i played 4 combos and caught a 4 of 5.. Yeah, I just watched it now...good show, I skipped over it yesterday B/C I didn't have time to watch a 44 minute youtube clip then.

But it's worth watching to see how they do the fix and Tipton getting busted LOL !

I think others also didn't want to watch 44 minutes.

The actor that played the Mayor...I think he was the Carlson's lawyer on WKRP in Ciccinnati

I remember that show, but never watched it. I think the last show was about him getting the newspaper and reading an article that he was named head coach of the Dillon, Texas Panthers, right
