I would take a few weeks to gather my thoughts as well as come back down to earth from the revelation of being in the .01% of all Americans. I would have my attorney go in to redeem my ticket on Friday since it is always associated with pay day.

If you plan on buying a new car from a dealership here are some tips:

Buy at the end of the day on Monday or Tuesday. Cyber Monday which comes after Black Friday following Thanksgiving Day.

End of the quarter or month. End of the Calendar year, End of the model year.

Since SC is an anonymous state, I would turn the ticket in next morning. Then find whatever professionals I may need to help manage the winnings. It takes a couple of weeks for the money to be available.

I think that any day of the week would be a perfect day to claim my winning jackpot ticket. But, if I had to choose a specific day, I would go with Thursday. I was born on a Thursday.
