I fear that it was hacked away from my computer or some software accident did it?

Eventually I had a copy on a now broken external hard disk.

Over the years I know of two of my files that I saw disappearing.

One was spectacular, the pc shut down, I started up, the excel workbook was gone.

That's rather hack than anything else I believe. ... I don't believe that MS would have programmed it that way, using memory, delete workbook. But, when I think to their IDE, yes, it is in their lin... [ More ]

On my screenshot I marked 6 combinations because of starting with 1 and 5, for other reasons, just remarking those.

The 567 came out straight.

I can turn this into a program.

My pick 3 pages will be recoded, only pick 3 CA is linked on the menu. It has the solver.

You would have to use point(x,y) to get those.

Make a list of 3 points combinations.

This may have been said before.

The other is a different form of soduko.

A quick solution is mod 5, then replace by 5 digits.

Make a second soduko and replace mod 5 by 5 remaining digits.

Caution, there are only 9 digits and only 3-digit combinations.

For a pick next system, you would have to decide what is needed: a 1, 2 or 3 digit combination? which 9 digits to choose from?

Which of the 362880 possible mixes of the pattern above? Add that there are more soduko patterns than this one.

For repeated play, you would have to consider all possible 362880 mixes plus the other patterns and their mixes.

I'd say, not a good system but a solid mix of digits for 3 digits combin... [ More ]
