Arizona is beautiful. I always think of that old magazine Arizona Highways. Is that still around? Anyway, I know a couple of people who live there and love it. Just read that Michael Phelps just bought a beautiful home there, too.

Any lottery jackpot winner can easily afford to have the best of both worlds, a winter home in a nice southern climate and a northern home for those torturous heat waves down south.

Maybe they can't find enough people who would want to move into a literal desert. If I want to live in a hot overcrowded desert I'd just move to LA.

It doesn't have anything to do with how desirable a location may or may not be. It boils down to tax breaks other incentives given to production companies. This is why there is so much crap from Alaska when it comes to reality shows...

I was thinking the same thing. Unless Hawai'i is super humid, then Arizona might be perfect. Dry heat is easier to deal with.

That's why I won't move there while still working.

But with or without a lottery win, somewhere in Arizona is where I want to go when I retire. Maybe snow bird back north for 4 or 5 summer months.

Come to northern Wisconsin. Spring, summer and fall are beautiful. In the winter those people can relocate to their winter homes in AZ. Who wants to live year long in Hawaii? Boring.

There a show on HGTV called Hawaii Life. Why can't they made a show called Arizona life. When people win the lottery and move to a big house in Scottsdale, Arizona. They have good weather. Warm in winter time and hot in summer time. I hear famous people from there like Emma Stone. It's a good place to live. The weather never to cold. What you think of my idea
