You just have to click on Lottery Charts under the Quick Links. They have all kinds of charts. A lot of times I'll copy and paste them into Deflate 3 and 4 to make my own charts or for researching.

sums between 12 and 23 should give you very close to 70% in pick 4 actually 68.95%. 12 to 24 would be 73.1

grwurston, I never knew that chart existed! Thanks!

What I did was write a program to set low and high values and determine how many hits fell in any given range. It writes about a 40K file with starting at lo 0, hi 0 and running to lo 27, hi 27. Looks like this.....

Boxed singles and Pick 3

Ran across this in the files and thought I'd pass it along.

What we've done here is take each digit and found the number of singles one would have to play in boxed form to cover the given sum range. In this case the sum range is low 9 and high 19. That range hits about 71.3%. Range low 8 to high 18 hits about 71.5%. In short 7 out of 10 draws should fall within these parameters.

In any case, it's a quick and dirty trick to reduce the 36 singles one would normally play to cover key digit. F... [ More ]
