That's true! And that's why I always refer to something that breaks the rules, rather than just referring to someone saying something bad . The rules provide an objective way to evaluate if a post is really abusive.

There is no need to appoint someone to that role, because EVERYONE is already on the troll police. That's because everyone has the ability to find and report bad behavior through the Report Abuse link that appears on every post.

Even though America is a country of Free Speech, as far as we know, LP is a Privately owned and operated website, with RULES OF BEHAVIOR that should be RESPECTED and ENFORCED. Maybe as a new policy for 2017, Todd should consider appointing a member of his LP Staff to Police the Trolls on LP, in order to keep the energy and experience of LP POSITIVE moving forward.
