I wouldn't really spend all that money. The principal and interests is what I would watch for, financial advisor, lawyer and acct could tell me better. The tax bracket being what it could be.

Three things I would do if I ever hit 5 numbers is help my mom pay a mortgage off that should have been dealt with years ago, get my dental work done, and then

That is up to the lottery commissions. Then again my advice is to search through this site and see what is happening.

The odds are too much on big jackpot lotteries and you have a better chance at your state level.

Also there are people out there especially the ones that live in a grey area everyday lifestyle and get too excited for the big games.

Powerball had three $400 million jackpots plus the record jackpot and two or three smaller jackpots like $200 to $100 million won this year in 2016. 2017 will see its fair share of big jackpots too it always happens.-weshar75

I agree. I'd rather see more frequent wins in PB and MM,

than have some HUGE jackpot, that I'd never be able to spend, if I won it.

My biggest bummer about the Lotto to date, is the fact that I regularly never win more than $4.

I've won $25 on one rare occasion, and never more than that, on lotto.

I'm good with the lotto minimum jackpots too. I'd just like to see them hit by more people, more frequently.

I am glad that it is won more frequently. Going 35 drawings without a winner was exciting, but kind of a drag at the same time because it was a wonder when someone would win. I am on the same level as those Brits that were upset when the jackpot was big, earlier this year (story posted on USA Mega). They were upset, not because the JP was big, but that it wasn't won frequently enough. I am good with the minimum PB JP, and usually wait until $30 Mil MM to up the ante.

It does not make any sense.

For both Mega Millions and Powerball they lowered the odds of winning the jackpot and there are fewer tickets bought but seemingly more winners.

Does anyone think we'll ever see a very large ($500 million+) jackpot for these games ever again? I think that crazy guy who used to post here was right after all when he said PB MM were way too easy to win.
