The $25 Fortune ticket is still showing 29 $1M prizes left. The actual number is probably closer to 20...

Both $25 Florida Cash, and $20 old Gold Rush are showing 4 prizes remaining. Both of these should show 2, and 3 respectively...yet the website still shows 4 and 4.

They certainly update some games swiftly, but take their time with others...

I love your idea and have tried for the past year to get the lottery to change the accounting/reporting ways regarding scratch offs with no luck whatsoever. Its been an uphill climb trying to get someone to listen to reason and actually give me the time of day regarding my ideas. As i mentioned before, go look at how Ohio does it. They list every single available prize remaining for every game they sell and update it regularly. I really want Florida lottery to make these type of changes and prov... [ More ]

I completely agree with your logic regarding SM and 2MJ Dracos and that is why i decided to join the forum and offer my 2 cents. I believe the only wildcard in the equation is the vending machines.....can you buy a book from your local retailers out of a vending machine? If so, that would be really helpful in checking book #'s and restore some faith back into the system. If books happen to sit for long periods of time in the vending machines in low volume sales areas and then are returned and de... [ More ]

Easily in the thousands. Publix locations, Winn Dixie, Walmart Neighborhood markets, and certain gas stations (7-Eleven, Kangaroo, etc). I also agree that this likely was the fate of the early HG prize. Why I still buy an HG book if it were in the lower range? Absolutely, simply because the possibility is there.

I don't think SM, or 2MJ would have been victims of this due to the timing of when they transitioned out of the machines.

Also one more thing I forgot about: Vending Machines!

When the Lottery decides to stock the new games in vending machines, some games have to be removed due to space. And I'm assuming when they are removed that means they get destroyed. How many vending machines are in the State of Florida? I bet you a good chance the early prize in $10 HG might have gotten destroyed from sitting in a vending machine.

I appreciate you sharing your insight with us all. I can imagine how frustrating the 100X chase must have been for players, and I agree with you wholeheartedly that the FL Lottery needs to change many of their practices. There's no reason why they should be manually updating websites, and why they use such an archaic system for these things. There's no reasons they should be able to destroy tickets, books, and then ignore any type of question or interaction from players who are concerned about h... [ More ]

I feel your pain dude. 100X definitely left a bad taste in everyone's mouth. It's very likely those tickets were destroyed or thrown in the trash. If I remember, the last Grand Prize claimed was around 609K and the print went up to the 630's, but it wansn't clear to tell if there was an actual prize left or not or if the missing prizes were from earlier in the rolls.

I have an idea. We're told the Scratch Producer has a master key of the winners, but not where they're shipped to, and the Lott... [ More ]

Hello to everyone in this forum! I recently discovered this forum and enjoy reading the posts of players trying to hit the life changer and decided to join an offer my 2 cents and learn more about the scratch off games. I am a long time Florida Lottery player and started getting into scratch off tickets back in 2004 when the first $20 tickets came out. I have bought countless books of tickets and have never hit that life changing jackpot even having lots of information like the reports often sha... [ More ]
