They use to average around 12 jackpots a year. Someone mentioned that tickets were not selling. I didnt believe it but now I think it might be true. The pot goes up a million no matter what so you cant go by the increases to determine sales. They offer very little for matching any numbers.

If we have another year like we did 2015 and 2016 where there were no winners for most of the year, I think it is going to kill the game. Towards the end they had to offer the 6 tickets for the price of 5 to help stimulate sales.

We're currently in California Super Lotto Plus Sudden Death Level 5 because the jackpot is at $72 million for Wednesday January 25th after it rolled 64 times without a jackpot winner. If someone wins the jackpot and takes the cash value option, then the cash value option jackpot is at $44.4 million dollars
