games are meant to be progressive especially pick 3 and 4 the more you play frequently and consistent the pattern should fall in your lap.. you should not remain a loser.. everything balances out

Ok, question.

I just won on two different scratch tickets from the same gas station. The tickets are $2 each. The prize combined is $60 between the two tickets.

So I was wondering, should I not buy those games from that gas station for a while, to give the roll time to empty and get to the next one? Or should I go back to the same place and make a bulk buy again?

I was thinking of going to the gas station on the opposite side of the street.

That's the way to do it. You always have a finger in the game - or at least 5 consecutive games.

If you are struck by jackpot fever and feel extra lucky, you can always buy a few more.

Personally, I've found lone isolated stores to have more winners than city stores with lots of vendors.

Also...no one has mentioned yet in this thread: lotto vending machine versus ticket roller. In my honest, honest most honest assessment, in the few times I've played machines I've never one a single red cent. I don't know why, but I haven't. You are so right! My neighbourhood in Brooklyn won Powerball jackpot and 2 scratch off jackpots. Ah the powerball jackpot won in the store near my house on my birthday

It's absolutely true that more winners come from Quick Picks/Easy Picks because more players chose that method of play. Here in New York, 75% of all online tickets sold are Quick Picks, only 25% are player picks. That means a jackpot winner is three times more likely to come from the Quick Pick pool of sold tickets.

Based on what I've learned over the years, the scratch tickets are randomly distributed in stores without any bias of any sort.

Based on further examination with pre-tests of the pick-3 game, I've also learned that they are full of Schlitz!...

What a shmultz this situation is in...

Scratch offs, PB, MM and etc. aren't the same. Scratch off winners can only be brought at locations which they have been distributed while PB, MM and etc. are won by any tickets with the winning numbers regardless of where they were brought.

I don't know if the location you buy your ticket has any effect on winning.

I do know that winning a big enough prize does effect a winner's location.

For Power Ball. More winners come from Quick Pick or Easy Pick because more players choose that method of playing.

Here in California, I play PB using the advance play option. Five weeks of Power Ball for twenty dollars. I only play one line of 5 + 1 numbers.

Winning scratch tickets are randomly sent to stores. Finding one is pure luck. However, the prizes are staggered throughout the entire print-run of a game. Some scratcher games are on the market for two years, so the lottery commission doesn't want people claiming all of the big prizes in the first few weeks of the game.

Larger city or smaller city makes no difference, However, larger sales stores in your hometown is more favorable than mom and pop stores. Here in NJ a larger portion of winners come out of places like Quick Chek or 7-11. Winners in high volume stores will attract more sales.

I've been wondering this for a while. When you buy scratch offs or pb, etc, does where you buy the ticket effect your chances of winning?

So would it be better to buy scratch offs and tickets in a larger city? Or a smaller city? Do winning tickets go to a larger or smaller city? Or is it completely random?

I thought about making a trip to houston to buy ticket, but should I or is it better just to stay local?
