I wish I could say that boycotting lottery is the way to go, as I have felt the way you do. That their greed is deterring regular players, which otherwise wouldn't have to be the case if they weren't so intent on trapping customers. But they won't miss our money. There's too many ignorant people discovering the lottery that they want to go the low road instead of having integrity in their products and rewarding frequent players.

I should have followed my plan ,, Instead I splurged on this yesterday with some extra $$$ I got this past week

Big mistake

4 tickets from one place and 4 from another = All losers

This game has been a money pit for me ,, Worst Illinois game I have played

I think its time for me to cut back over next month or two. I think I will just buy one or two scratchoffs a week + one Raffle ticket

Man this game ####### sucks

I won $100 twice in last week with Fabulous Fortune ticket and 20 x 20 ticket and decided to go big and buy 8 $20 tickets

Four 20 x 20

Four 100x the money

All losers ,, This 100x blows

I think if I buy anymore for this game it will be one off purchases

Probably will stick to older games like Fabulous Fortune or $3,000,000 Jumbo Bucks if I find them around me

Chasing is always tough.. Last week I bought 9 $20 tickets in a row in Pittsburgh without a winner. That's the longest streak in a roll that I have ever had on $20 tickets in PA.

Yesterday I bought a new $10 Flame ticket in PA. First ticket was a loser, second one too.. The roll was 8,000ish so a new game. I like chasing in new games. Next Ticket was a red $20 winner = $200...

I was tempted to buy the next one but left it for the next person.

Yeah, chasing is dangerous. A couple years ago, I went though 8 losers in a row on a $20 game before winning just $40 back. Now I usually just buy 4 $5 tickets, 2-3 $10 tickets and 2 $20 tickets in a row at most. Only on special occasions do I buy a lot in a row.

I usually buy 3-5 at a time

Sometimes mix and match (Maybe 3 of one type , two of other)

First half of 2016 I had success at least getting a good chunk back ,, Since then just awful luck on tickets

And yeah the 2M cash extravaganza sucks ,, I really hope that when they pull that ticket they never repeat it

Illinoisdreamer, are you buying one ticket a time or a few in a row? I like to play 2 or 3 in row and hope I hit for atleast somthing. I agree, I also can't stand the 2m cash extravagenza and have had no luck with that ticket. they need some new $20 games. I also like to keep track of what i win on and how much i am spending. At least you have hit for $100 a few times (And I see your $200 win) on that ticket since it came out

I have decided this year to track all my plays so I can see how I do in each game I play

So far I have bought 19 of those tickets since they came out with

16 = Losers

1 = Break even

1 = $40 win

1 = $50 win

Not sure I want to continue on buying any of these tickets. Problem is most of the places I shop seem to have gotten them in and are currently offering nothing be... [ More ]

Lotteries are stingy. Either I can't figure that out or I don't want to listen. If I don't have at least a $2 Scratcher on me or thinking about my next errand, I don't feel like I'm gonna get anywhere, or something. I have never bought a book of anything. But close one time and there were 12 $20 losers in a row! Rats

I personally would only buy a book of tickets with a purpose. Generally speaking, buying entire books is a fast way to lose money.

I've bought probably over 100 books of scratchoff tickets, and I'd say 60-70 were minimum payouts ($205-$245/$600) here in Florida. The only time I'd recommend buying books if if a game has one, or multiple jackpots remaining and is toward the end of it's life and is down to the last 1-3% of tickets remaining. So the first 6 tickets all losers, I'm thinking a hundred dollar winner is coming but the next ticket is only a $20 winner. So i play the next one just i case they are throwing me a curve ball with a back to back winner (which is rare) an it's another loser. Lesson learned.
