To each his own.

Personally, statistical analysis is not a waste of time. It may not produce an immediate expected outcome, or the exact outcome expected, but what the statistics say will happen, does happen.

That can be proved with statistics.

I look at the state forums. I see people predicting the sets that do hit that morning, that night. Many of them who can do it can't explain how. To sound metaphysical, its as if they were attuned to the part of the universe that makes those decis... [ More ]

Pick three is a three sets game. That is like three one ball keno games. Anyway you can count by position. Where do you get? You get 1:10 for each position. It isn't a 6/48. Your want to win straight so you have to take up one set. Take the first one. E(1) = 0.1, same for the others. Position 1, numbers 0 to 9. Position solved. There you have your LSA logic. Further like everybody you summed up the hits by position. Position 1, ball x, y times. Now what do you do with that? Average 1 in 10. Payo... [ More ]

As I thought, pick 3 and pick 4 analysis is a waste of time statistically; random numbers give the same statistical result. I would really like LSA to run pick games but it goes against the philosophy LSA s built upon and maintained over the past 18 years, produce lottery statistics from real world and verifiable maths.

You won't find much online that delves into the statistical analysis of Pick 3. As much is as available on the game, most is regurgitation of something they heard or read. Or they are demonstrating something specific which means little in the overall game context. Most often when I've needed any type breakdown, I've had to work it out.

And while there are a lot of sites where you can glimpse bits and pieces, its best to be choosy in what you believe.

I have been thinking about statistics in pick 3 and pick 4 type games that can give a user a mathematical advantage over using simple random numbers so I can integrate it into LSA but I cannot see anyway this is achievable because pick games can repeat an already drawn number meaning the normal distribution has no bias to analyse. If you use my software you will understand my approach to lottery analysis and therefore understand the problem I face.

The only way I can see (mathematically) of g... [ More ]
