Values inserted in X are past drawings. But this has a science to it. Since you will need to research on different data/sample values. Lotteries have different patterns and versions that humans manipulate on purpose. For example, some games have multiple ball sets and deck of cards from which the game is picked from. So choosing wisely is interesting. Then on top of that, you have to deal with randomness in which speeds are set on the machines, the time it took for these machines to be trained,

There is regression in spreadsheets. You could try the calculator but that would take longer. Predict yes, but win? This isn't a straight snooker pot.

Hello friends , I would like to learn how to use linear regression to lottery game...

I know that non linear regression shows consistent results on predictions , but i want to know which value may i insert on X and Y data.

the forum doesn't allows me the put a link here , but anyone can read the formulas in Wikipedia

Example, this is a little sample of Powerball draws:
