I think ressuccess meant the winning Powerball combinations on 2/15/17 and 2/18/17 can also be winning combinations in SuperLotto Plus because their white ball numbers were between 1 and 47, and their bonus balls were between 1 and 27.

People are still traumatized by the frenzy.....the many who drained their bank accounts will wait till it is a certified billion.

The Holmes draw was the first one I saw with multiple adjusted jackpotso before the draw and that only got to 600 million. some people look down on 600 million when it could be a billion so will sit it out.

You can find the info about the next jackpot on the TX lottery website. It usually gets posted by early afternoon of the drawing date, but sometimes it's up earlier and occasionally a bit later. Just plug in the appropriate date at the end:

No billion dollar draw.....not for a very long while yet. maybe another in the next 5 years, but it won't get that high again.

Think about it, there was nothing in the past that came close to it, it could have happened before but never did.

Somebody won 2nd prize in Calif which was 650k which is alot for Caif. It's easier for me to justify blowing the money on PB if the 2nd prize is up. Wish we had the flat $1 million for 2nd prize winners.

But all in all, this is the 18th draw without a win.

I don't think we will ever replicate the run up to the billion dollar draw and how fast it hot there.

FINALLY! It took longer for them to post this this time around. If the jackpot rolls over, it will go up to:

$349 million or $213,100,000 lump sum or $128,712,400 after full federal taxes.

Not bad but I will gladly sacrifice and take tonight's jackpot in lieu of a larger one on Saturday.

Many LP members post their picks on the prediction board and I would be surprised if any of them ever won a jackpot there would be a duplicate by another member. Players just don't that much faith in other players picks.

Only because a lot of people are idiots who can't miss a chance to think there's a conspiracy. 3 winners in the same store is obviously one player who bought 3 tickets, or possibly a clerk accidentally printed the extra tickets.

The only thing about this that's unusual is if two of the tickets really were QP's. It's absolutely inevitable that QP's will sometimes have the same combinations, but it's definitely unusual that two with the same combination were sold for the same drawing. It's stil... [ More ]

I felt lucky, too, and bought 10 tickets and matched NO numbers -- not a one.

The second prize in California was only $294,489. However, it was much higher than I thought it would be. They must be selling a lot of tickets. And tho it rolled over $25 million dollars, it is a much lower amount of a roll over than last fall.

When you look at the powerball estimate there's a column for the draw coverage. Based on the estimated sales of $55.7 million they're forecasting a 9.1% chance that the jackpot will be hit on Saturday, which leaves a 90.9% chance that it will roll. They've got to sell more than 5 times as many tickets before a rollover becomes less likely than a winner(s).

Tonight's cash jackpot after full federal taxes split 3 ways would still give you more than $30 million take home cash.

But if it rolls over, the estimated jackpot is $285,000,000 or $172,500,000 lump sum which is $104,190,000 after full federal taxes.

I think that most PB players are hoping to win with each draw but if not then they will want a roll over.

The higher the prize then the chance of multiple winners increases. Better to win now when it is still at these levels.
