I just moved back to Florida and I have noticed unless it's a new stack or new scratch off the winning tickets are few. I used to play the 3 dollar crossword in North Carolina and always won 5/20 and even 50 on them. Here I have never won at all on the 3 dollar bonus crossword. And on the Florida lottery page it says there are at least 27 of 40 50,000 dollar winners left. So, where are they. There is definitely a difference in where you buy your tickets. What did they win for that million? Are they investing and principal and interest on the money?

If so if I were you I would do a different game plan route.

Do they have a financial advisor or someone?

In other words stop throwing money out.

Instant tickets if the merchant starts selling a new one look at how many times it was bought. I believe first 5- 10 might draw a winner here and there then the merchant makes their money back and then after a certain amt.

The night of the draw? So your relative did not win on a scratcher? The lure of getting instant money is the big lure with stratchers, and like the nickel and penny slots at casinos, the elderly and poor tend to be the faithful foot soldiers that provide the lottery with the motherlode of their daily haul.

I had to let scratchers go. Or at least, not pin great hopes on them. The odds that a 3 digit daily number hits straight is 999 to one. The balls are bubbling in the air, and can fall anywhere. Every one has a equal shot. The odds that out of the 6 million or so scratcher tickets printed and distributed through the state is going to yield a good hit on the ticket that you happen to pick up in the few stores you frequent is so high, is not measurable. Agreed wholeheartedly.

I do think the Fantasy 5 draw game is an excellent game to play. Odds of 1 in 377k of hitting a life altering jackpot sure as hell beats 1 in 22 million at hitting a life changing one, in my opinion.

There isn't much of a strategy. You're either lucky or you're not. Lately the payouts for scratch tickets in FL have been worse than ever before. If you bought a book of tickets you used to get back around 50? of what you spent. Now it's closer to 38-40? payback rate.
