Wheeling is the way to reduce odds, the more lines you play the better the odds.

However you must play wheels that don't repeat any winning combinations as you must cover as many possible combinations to keep the odds as per the official draw odds. All reduced wheels reduce odds, the Lottery Statistic Analyser produces maximized wheels that dont repeat combinations.

If you want to increase the chances of a prize (no sorry maintain the official odds of a prize) its the only way.

Before RollingCash5, Ohio had a million dollars liability cap on all its daily games including Buckeye5. You might remember the guy that had 13 B5 winning tickets expecting to win $1.3M and had to share $1M with another winner. I checked Ohio website and couldn't find a cap but simply a statement that terminals will not print tickets that exceed the liability cap so buying a $20 pick5 ticket might not possible.

The fallacy that I often hear is if you play the same number your chances increase. Richard Lustig proudly states this advice even though it makes absolutely no sense, and is a cliche example of gambler's fallacy logic. This isn't how probability works. Each draw is an independent roll of the previous outcome. Picking a quick pick, in my opinion, is the best way to increase a person's odds.

Pick5 with odds of 1:100,000 has a top prize of $50,000 for a dollar ticket.

And a $20 wager gets $1 million without any effect on the 1:100,000 odds.

Nature, the environment outside your body, gave rise to genes. It and the 'environmental conditions' inside your body has an influence on genes. Yes it's in the Genes , but genes can 'change'. As we know, environmental factors, stressors, can unfavorably(or favorably) influence genetic expression(epigenetics) by turning certain genes on and off, or can cause mutations. So while it's true that a genetic propensity for a particular condition like lung cancer doesn't mean you'll get it, environment... [ More ]

For a $20 wager you can get 100,000 to 1 chance of winning $1 million playing Ohio Pick-5, but that's assuming winning $1 million is the goal. For a $3 wager the same game win can collect more than $1 win in the Rolling Cash 5 at five times the odds.

Whether they spend $10, $15, or $1000 a drawing there are still over 258 million combinations they won't have. I saw a pick-5 (5/37) strategy win a $100,000 jackpot, but the odds it beat were exactly the same as the purchasing a like number of QPs.

So I guess my point is eventually all 258 million MM combinations will be drawn, but it will take over 25,000 years for 1% of all the combinations to be drawn at 2 drawings a week. IMO the odds are too great to expect to win a jackpot and the small... [ More ]

What's your point? Are you suggesting spending $1560 a year playing MM with a guaranteed $104-$154 return is no better than spending $1000 a year with no guarantees or even buying just one ticket for each drawing?

Twice I've come within one number of matching 6of6 for Ohio's Classic Lotto jackpot only playing ten lines, once in February of 2013 which I posted on the prediction board. In spite of that I never matched 4of6 so a winning strategy might not prove it self until it actually wins a j... [ More ]

For this post, I m going to focus on the goal of winning a multi-million-dollar jackpot without having to spend more than $1,000.00 a year.

When I read that I thought of your 15 lines with all 15 bonus numbers MM strategy. Yours would cost $1560 a year minus the $104 it's guaranteed to win. Probably get several $2 and $5 winning tickets, but at minimum 10,720 to, 1 odds, I wouldn't count on finding a $50 or higher value winning ticket.

Not saying the strategy of betting $1000 a year can't... [ More ]

The proof is in the pudding. Regardless whether you think you have a strategy or not if you aren't beating the overall odds of winning something by quite a bit you might as well be buying QPs. As far as having a goal, if it's not winning a jackpot or at least more than you spend then you should find a cheaper hobby. Neither one is likely but at least you can dream and chasing dreams can be costly.

When budget is small, people usually play randomly by buying one ticket. There sure can be that winning combination in a future (or soon enough) that will make this person a winner, but it also might come many decades later, I mean person has to live ten lives before it will happen (vertually, if the game exists for that long).

When person spends more, all he does is he speeds up the game, his chances, lures them closer. That is if the win is to happen.

There are 365 winning combinations

Even a broken clock gets the time right once a day so given the volume of people who choose the quick pick option versus those who execute a strategy it is no surprise that more people win from quick picks.

I wasn't offering a new strategy, I was pointing out how to evaluate a strategy to help people avoid throwing money away on as strategy that in the end will cost them more money than they will ever win.

When I started looking at playing lottery games it did not take me long to realize that there is no strategy in the world that can predict what the winning numbers are going to be for a specific drawing. Anyone who says differently is selling snake oil.

To understand if a strategy will be successful one must first define what the goal of the strategy is. For some people the goal is winning more than they spend, for others it is winning a multi-million-dollar jackpot. Attempting to define and
