But my point was to show the $3 naysayers what paying an extra $1 for the Power Play can do.

Not only does it cover the extra $1 for Power Play for the next 4 1/2 months it doubles my prize amount for 5 numbers in the next 36 drawings.

(you have a much greater chance of getting 5 numbers correct than you do of getting 5 numbers correct plus the Power Ball to win it all.

I have been buying PowerBall tickets for nearly 30 years.

I have never missed a drawing.

I will continue to buy them whether I win or lose.

What I am stating is because I won $36 extra with the $3 ticket vs the $2 ticket, I will use that extra $36 to pay the $1 extra and get the $3 ticket instead of the $2 ticket.

Yes, the $36 extra I won will allow me to spend $1 extra for the Power Play for the next 36 drawings.............18 weeks............4+ months

Well, $3 times 36 draws (18 weeks) equals $108.

A $3 ticket times 12 draws (6 weeks) equals $36.

So......your $36 that you netted means you can continue to buy $3 tix for......12 draws, which being that there are 2 draws a week would be..... 6 weeks.

I bought my usual $3 PowerBall ticket Tuesday.

Last night I only got the PowerBall correct and won $4

However, since the multiplier was 10.............I won $40

Thus , my $1 extra spent netted me $36

Enough to keep getting the $3 ticket ( instead of the $2 ticket ) for another 36 drawings ( 18 weeks

Curious which one most of you purchase.

I always buy the $3 one ( with multiplier) because I would hate to get 5 numbers picked correct and lose $1 Million by saving $1 on a ticket purchase.
