I honestly agree with you on the forums but the point being made is even if someone hit a big jackpot Powerball or Megamillions guarantee some people in this country do not know what to really do with that money I agree with both you

Maybe $28 MILLION is small to the high rollers who post here, but it is huge to a common guy like me.

The pick3 and pick4 forums are the largest of LP forums which are filled with members who would be happy to win their top prizes. Where are you seeing these high rollers that think $28M is small after paying taxes

I'd like to say that the numbers that you gave about federal and state sound exactly right and I guess depending on where anyway lives at it just comes down to investing in the principle of the lottery amount which a lot of people don't do

Anything over a million is huge. You could move to another state, buy a car, buy a house. Renovate your new house. Buy mad clothes and still have cash left over to pay taxes, I mean come one yeah I know. But that's just the way players play because they think that it can't keep going up and up forever, meaning eventually someone has to win. Just focus on when you want to play. I just checked the Power Ball and there was no winner last night.

According to most players, the jackpot is small for Saturday night.

Small ?

If I won and took the cash option, my check .........after Federal and State taxes were with held....would be $28,220,000.

Maybe $28 MILLION is small to the high rollers who post here, but it is huge to a common guy like me.
