I am sure by the following spring when I actually file taxes that I will have enough left of my PowerBall winnings to easily pay any additional amount of taxes due.

Yes, but I won't owe anymore until after I file in the following year.

The site I use gives what your actual check will be ( cash option) for every state that participates.

Now , this Saturday a resident of my state would get a check for $42,432,000

A winner in California would get $46,800,000

(there is no state tax on lottery winnings in California
