Unfortunately I can not help. I would have done with pleasure! Surely in this forum exists who is handy Visual Basic even though it is an old programming language. But what matters is the process. I read somewhere that you help the Tartaglia triangle but do not know how it applies to the request made by Novan60.

The usual ironic answers that do not help. There is definitely a way, I know some program written in Visual Basic running these fast calculations. But help is not part of this world, it is easier to make stupid comments

After hours of getting nowhere trying to find a mathematical solution I re-wrote the application to take advantage of distributed computing power. Now I have 3 computers each running 5 instances of the application processing about 1000 records every 46 seconds.

One instance of the application evaluates the drawing and extracts the 4-8 thousand record that match the trends I am interested in from data points that are quick to validate. The other 14 instances processes in detail those pre-quali... [ More ]

In a thread in the strategies section entitled Pick by Split I posted a method that I use to pick numbers that is based on dividing the numbers into two group multiple times and then choosing the number of digits that would make up the winning combination from each side. Here is a screen shot of what the application looks like:

I mostly use this method for Keno and there are 184,756 combinations of 10 digits per drawing. It takes roughly 12 minutes of processing time per thousand records
