The answer is simple. It all depends what was mentioned to that person. If it's a verbal agreement then stand by it. If it's in writing which I believe most people should do then yes. Chances are a lawyer gets involved. The other word is trust. Do you trust someone

If you are familiar with someone that you trust them to take your money and buy tickets, they are usually a friend. How much you want to reward that friendship is up to you. I think there may be some hard feelings if the buyer thinks they deserve more. But if the buyer is buying his own tickets and offers to pick up some for you, if he won, would he give you money? I doubt it unless they are a friend.

Would you give the person that buy you lottery tickets and you hit the jackpot money? Like said they buy you tickets and you hit jackpot. Will you give that person money? Not all the money but some.
