1) sort datetimes and dates A- Z as you want the recent date at the bottom and never at the top.

2) add sum column

3) use function:

={..(IF(col=val;...)-...col))}

4) mind the gap

I use Open Office Calc so not tested in Excel:

=MATCH(2;AV148:AV210;0)-1

That will show home many rows down until your number, in this case 2, appears.

Please if anyone can kindly help me out with calculating skips in excel for sums ..

I can not for the life of me figure it out although I have been trying for so long that I'm ashamed to tell the length of time at it..

I don't know excel I can do averages counts conditional formats and some mod stuff that's about it..

=COUNTIF(AV148:AV210, 2 ) -----this is what I have now and it took forever by reading just to do that on my own..

So my question is how could I skip count sum 2 in... [ More ]
