And the regex find and replace:

Find : ^[\d]+[\s\t]+[\d]+/[\d]+/[\d]+[\s\t]+([\d-]+)[\s\t]+.*$

Replace : \1

small description of what's there:

^ - line start

$- line end

[] - anything inside will be matched positive

\d - one digit

[\d]+ - n number of digits

\s - space

\t - tab

. - any charater

* - 0 or more matches

\1 - replace with first place holder[the value within ()]. Here it's ([\d-]+). This is what you need

Raven62 - idea to use column mode.

This a sample with Notepad++

In Notepad++ Pressing Ctrl+Alt+left mouse click and dragging column wise and across rows will select block of data(column mode).

you can use any editor with column mode to achieve the same - quick and easy.

Hi,

I use the regex functionality in Notepad++ a lot

For example consider your lines look like this

Monday 01/20/2017 123,234,..20 numbers

Regex find: ^[A-Za-z]+\s[\d]+/[\d]+/[\d]+\s([\s\d,]+$

Regex replace : \1

Now you should have your numbers

If you have a specific text and what you want out of it, provide them. I will give exact regexes.

When i have a row of day,date, and 20 numbers and i want to just copy the numbers without the day,date but when i highlight they all highlight together. How do i fix it/ thanks for any help.
