666 appearing multiple times is easy to explain. 666 will average out to appearing roughly 10 times every 10,000 drawings. It is very easy to look at a small window of drawings and see that it has appeared 3 times in the last year and assume that there is something magical about the number however it could be another 4 years before it appears for the fourth time.

If I flip a coin 1 time there is a 50% chance it will land heads and a 50% chance that it lands tails.

In fact, in my workout I have to be able to count to 15.

My point is that I've watched hundreds of Texas mechanical ball machine drawings, and I have never seen anything that would

make me believe that some kind of mathematical action determines which balls will come out of the escape gates.

The very action of selecting 1 ball in X is surrounded by math whether that selection happens mechanically, electronically or by osmosis.

The math tells us exactly what the probability of a given set of numbers will be. It tells us the probability of how many numbers might be odd or what the chances are of a number appearing X times in a row is.

What it cannot tell us is exactly what numbers are going to appear for a specific drawing which we can validate because of...wait for it...math.

Since no mathematical action takes place in a mechanical lottery ball machine during the ball selection process, how do you know your mathematical computations have any value?

Seems to me that calculations based on 'phantom mathematics' could very well be a big lie.

Just about all of the mathematical models will provide false results if based on actions that never occur.

Since it's a free country there will always be people blabbing useless info that tells the lottery player why they shouldn't bet rambling on and on. People will bet regardless if there are 50 people rambling on about why the odds are against you or not. I could care less about the stats of p3 betting in other states because it doesnt change the way i bet. Stats on how many tickets are purchased in DC or New York are not going to change how I select my numbers.

Personally after having simulated so many strategies and seeing how much money I would lose if I had played them for 10 or 15 years makes it hard for me to justify playing for real.

Any strategy will produce hits, plus or minus standard deviation from probability; the trick is all in the timing by playing it at the right time.

In the end it has definitely helped me appreciate the fact that the math does not lie.

Lottomister I wish we had pick 4. The commision won't start one they are too busy with scratch offs. Many people have asked but to no avail. The Nm games have a ton of repeats 502 today lately so as a result it's good to bet repeat digits. Its all about being on top of the game.

If anyone doesn't have any confidence in their abilities at this then they may consider another form of entertainment . I see many naysayers on this site that fall into a funk and only log on to pour on the sour grapes which is a complete waste of time.

I think some of the negativity is just frustration. over the last dozen years or so I've spent countless hours trying to find the perfect strategy that would land me a winner and while my programming skills and math have dramatically improved I'm technically no closer to finding a system than when I first started.

Relax, take a deep breath and think. That's all it takes.

I anticipate the trend. I use lotto laughs 747,90 degree and right pair. My smoke and mirrors does well ,along with my series,Noah's pairs etc. Bamm!

I then use my charts from zero to ten. Highlight the hits and watch the patterns fall. I start on the left 012 and watch those trends, then I go to the middle digits 3456,then I look and average the widths. Hmm I say hmm. Genius!

My All-or-Nothing system is working great if I ignore the 51% loss ratio.

Many people don't even spend time on predictions and that doesn't mean they are not winning!

If we bet a buck straight on the same three digit number and it's drawn twice in 1000 drawings, we clobbered the odds but break even. And it really doesn't matter how much we bet. I suppose someone could use a betting strategy that increases the size of the bet after every loss, but will be lucky to get even money. The two LP pick-3 top predictors got less than even money by betting less that $700.

It's all about timing and staying on top of your game. There are a few p3 players in NM that are doing very well. Last month 333 hit and 91 straights throughout the state.

I've history tested dozens of strategies and they all fail if a major jackpot is not won. This is why I stay away from the lower prize games although I do understand their appeal.

Interesting concept but I would never bet over $20. I saw a guy at the racetrack that bet on every horse to cover the field. He broke even once in a while. With your programming skills a pair tracker with hot digits over 25 games,50, and 100 games combined with a chart showing highlighted digits would be nice. We have similar stories although I have not hit a jackpot yet. I'm just ahead because I have hit several 2nd and 3rd place prizes when I have had the opportunity to live play while visiting NY or Michigan.

know your enemy. It's always a good idea to know what the expected is as I have found that in a fair

If I may offer an opinion, I think placing too much emphasis on ROI can take the fun out playing the lottery.

In my way of thinking, the only people who will win more than they lose are folks who win a couple of thousand playing a game like Texas Two-Step where the jackpot begins at $200,000 and rolls until won.

I've been trying to win that jackpot for a long time, with less than spectacular results. I will, of course, keep trying.

When I was living in a state that did not have a Keno game I looked at playing the pick 3 and 4 games and abandoned the idea after about 6 months of work. The reward wasn't worth the effort. I pretty much stay away from the pick 5 games for the same reasons.

Finally somebody offered a different outlook on Pick 3 than pyramid or other multiplying moo by foo and dividing by boo to extract poo strategy which always remind me of juggling zeros in any possible logical or mathematical way hoping that somehow, somewhere, someday they will sum up to 1. I think this is proof positive that to come out ahead one has to be very good at picking numbers/digits.

We would have to reduce the play lines by half or more to make a profit. Anytime we play fewer than

the 220 for pick-3 we risk loosing the entire wager. It's a close bet overall with as we can expect to win

the 5-39 once for every 575757 plays. If we play P-3 we could expect to win 575 times for the same bet.

Playing one line and covering all the possible outcomes looks like a smarter way to go.

Right now I am playing on paper and playing up to 5 lines for $1.00 bet or 10 lines if

My co-worker had

214 $1.00 straight= $600.00-

214 $1.00 1- off,= $300.00

214 $1.00 box= $100.00

Total winnings, on one draw= $1,000.00

For the 1- off ticket, $1.00, she only won $300.00 vs. If she played it $1.00 str/box, she would have won $350.00.

The 1-off ticket is $1.00 , you have to play $1.00, you can not play 50 cent on 1-off game.

So, you will not win on the number being box, just straight, or 1-off.

The payout for boxed is normally lower than for straight.

If you play boxed, it is like playing at roulette, two rows with one chip, only at pick 3 you get much much much ... much less.
