This has happened in NM numbers go cold then when they do hit they go wild and then several hits. Five hit with 9,59, and then 6,68 etc.

Several repeats also.

I've looked at the vtrac stuff but it's not consistant. Sometimes it hits and then takes off weeks at a time which can be very expensive.

I did notice that since getting the MID draw last Feb., activity has picked up a bit....

Of the seven appearances of the 10 pair, 4 were on MID. Balancing?

Another thought... Vsums play a part. Yes, I know, you either love vtracs or you hate them. But, statistically, vsums 7-12 are most common. So, the lower combinations don't tally as high.

so, yeah that 102 is worth covering. My money goes on the higher digits though.

Thank you,Jay :) Combining methods is the way to go. That used to be my little tag line. It's interesting you mention the 08 pair straight. Here is more combining but of information instead of methods. The 08x combo is on the lower end of the lottery scale as in how many times it's come up statewide. So, if it makes you feel any better, then you can almost- probably-maybe feel confident that it may not show up straight,lol. More probably as 80x.

Maybe am not thinking right, Pick 3 has 1000 triads, each triad has 9 potential pairs for every draw. A draw 123 could have had any of these fronts 1,1} {1,2} {1,3} {2,1} {2,2} {2,3} {3,1} {3,2} {3,3}. I am trying to understand the permutation 10P2 within 1000 triads.

I absolutely love this. This goes in league with the type of Out of the box creativeness I also try to achieve.

100 numbers. Well, let's look at it this way. We have eliminated 900 numbers to have to consider. That to me is a big deal. ANY number you can eliminate is a huge plus.

If you consider P2 , then the 100 numbers to filter make sense. P3 has average of 9000 pairs, so the odds of a front pair is 1/9000. Of course, using this information with what you already do, if it its working for you, is a plus. How does that work? For instance my vtrac indicator for this evenings draw is 1 and 4. So that means that the digit 8 and 3, and digit 0 and 5 should be at the forefront. And double can really be in play. Why? 2 doubles indicators just came....and all odd combination, and just before that a consecutive trio combination. And as lottolaughs said these are HOT!

So let's get back to business. On another thread I started in the Pick 3 forum, I listed the Top 10 Hottest Straight Front Pairs for the whole country. But... if I go by the poll I took awhile ago about what kind of data people were most interested in, it was 29 to 15 that our LP members preferred your own state and not all states.

There is no reason to lose a long post after you've typed it, and no suggestions are needed. There is already a rescue/auto-save feature built into the text editor.

You simply click the Life Ring symbol on the top-left of the text editor's toolbar, and it brings back the last contents that were in the editor -- even if you accidentally closed the web browser.

That feature has been there literally for 10 years now.

You hit the nail right on, is all about waging strategy. Combo bet is cost effective for few picks, waging 3 sets at 50cents/pick will cost you 9$/draw. With the cost in mind, you set your time frame and roll the dice. I rarely wage on P3, my focus is P4 where my betting strategy is base on Prize ratio(few picks, longer time frame).

I track pairs! I love pairs, and everything is manual (sheesh). I keep a monthly journal and track every hit number (NC is my state). Well you already know about the power of consecutive pairs, so I use those. then I try to match them to that 3rd number. I also use TTT and an excel system of Fast Cash and Key Picks. Very good methods mentioned here. Your following pairs remind me of Ladyc's system she has going on with her 89 01 system.

Followers. That's a whole other thread now, isn't it? I do that sometimes...search 2 pairs together and see which 2 come out the most.

Just now I searched 869 with 12, 13 and 15 individually.

869 and 12--1155 times

869 and 13--1140 times

869 and 15--1152 times.

It's interesting if we just search the 86 pair with the 12.

The numbers jump up.

What I have done after looking at what the last numbers were...was to observe the frequency of a digit and where it was positioned during that frequency to see if there was a pattern in positions

I noticed that the numbers seem to like frequenting certain months....??? So each month I make a chart of past three or four years...C3 C4

I agree there's so many systems, it can lead you in circles. Certainly a good way is to find a number that has not shown in a while and chase that number. It's good to divide into evening and daytime draws and to keep the number you look for and play as straight. I mean eventually it will show. But the downside is of course there are some numbers that have never played straight in the evening or daytime. There's only 1 in NY that hasn't played straight in evening; 462. Well, it just so happens that I was lucky enough to win a book by lottolaughs lol

I am only playing eve draw now but I do the pair workout for both draws, eve, and front pairs

So each month it does narrow down combined pairs with overdue eve pairs to come up with combos and then I use due front pairs to arrange them.

I don't play as often, end and beginning of the month or when I get a feeling for it lol

On this thread I would like to concentrate on a more logical and realistic way to come up with straights. There are millions of systems out there on this forum. (I'm guilty myself, as you know :) But we all know systems only work for so long and run cold after awhile.

TTT's, in my opinion, are a waste of time. There are just too many numbers going too many ways. And how do you know they are even the RIGHT numbers? How on earth does anyone make sense of those. I can't. If you love to figure numbers then this is the place for you.

What do you think is a more logical way to start? Think about it for a moment. I will await your answer.

OK, I mean I explained it pretty well. I don't have a crystal ball as some have suggested lol. But take the 480, if you do it you get 120 and 1920, which equals 2040. 2040 divided by 7 is 291. 219 showed a few nights before 480. But you know what, 219 repeated on April 3rd also only 2 draws later. So there you go.

Lol, my systems are unconventional, but I do have more than a few and they show straights. I'll use Sunny Florida as an example. Take the 430 that played on March 6th evening. Multiply 430 by 0.25 and divide 430 by 0.25. Or just multiply and divide 430 by 4. Then add results together, and divide by 7. You should get 1720 and 107, which equals 1827. 1827 divided by 7 is 261. 261 came in straight on Thursday evening March 23rd in Florida.

New to working out numbers so I have been simply using TTT for previous numbers, looking to see which numbers haven't hit in certain positions, paying attention to what sums I am told are due...mostly hand -written workouts...hit few times this way.

Truth is though most of the times I have hit was intuition. I love figuring numbers and playing with it all so I am up with the hammering today
