I was getting worried it was just me having a problem. Clicking on any link on the opening page will get the bar back to normal with maybe the up arrow since it doesn't direct you to a different page. It's an easy work around on this end as the front page is the portal for the whole system.

Thanks for going to the trouble of installing Sierra on your computer to see the problem. If a work around is possible hope its not a major fix.

Yup, looks like Apple changed Safari in Sierra and introduced a new bug. I'll see if it's possible to create a work-around, but at least it only happens upon initial load of the site and then reverts to normal behavior. Chrome on Sierra doesn't have the same problem, so it's something they've done in Safari.

I'm upgrading my Macbook to Sierra as I type this, but right now under El Capitan there are no issues at all. Of course I'll verify this after the upgrade completes as well.

You should know that when making the search changes, absolutely nothing changed on the website. All the changes occurred in the database (which is where the logic for Search is housed), so any changes you're seeing are not tied to changes in Search.

I'll post again once the upgrade is complete and I've tested it again.... [ More ]

I've cleared cache, rebooted reloaded browser and it still fails at opening website for a first time. It will load with bar in correct placement after re-opening website shortly after a first opening.

Yes, I'm using the Safari browser.

I will fire up my Macbook and check it out a little later. In the meantime, one thing I would check on your end is that you have tried clearing your cache (not cookies -- just the cache), then close and re-open your web browser.

I assume you're using the Safari browser

Since the update for the search I've noticed the Forms Results etc blue menu bar goes to the left side of the opening page. It acts like there is an align left for the bar as the page opens. I running a Mac Book Pro, Sierra version 10.12.4.

I can email a screen shot if you want.

Thanks for your time.
