Your pet peeve is misguided.

The number of winner(s) won't be officially known until the winning ticket is redeemed.

Pool winners sometimes jump out and start bragging, but it could be months before the lottery will issue an official announcement.

Don't know why you would expect anyone in LP to know initially if there was more than one winner.

But, who really cares?

It wasn't me. Time to move on to the next jackpot.

Thank you for posting this. Here is the funny part. the white ball and mega ball were 13.

But honestly my pet peeve on this site is everyone so used to stating one jackpot winner. It could have been a group.
