there are 2 numbers only 1 off, therefore they are twice as likely to hit as your number.

Tonight's PB, I got 1 number plus the Power number. On 3 of the numbers I was 1 off.

I coulda been a contender!

Anyway, I still won $5 bucks. As a consolation prize, hopefully, the jackpot rolls over.

I feel your pain. I recently won $100 on Powerball. I picked the numbers and got 4 out of 5 white balls. The 5th was 45 and I played 55. It's like I knew I needed a number ending in 5 but didn't choose the correct one.

Just played 18 tickets in a 4+1 draw game. I was 2 numbers off the first number and 1 number off each subsequent number. I picked some numbers and let the game picked the others.

This has happened in other games including megamillions where I was literally 1 number off each number. And it was even the right group of numbers. im like dang, I wish more lottos had 1 offs...where you can still win the prize if you're 1 off each number. I'd of won a few good prizes by now.
