Thank you. I did email them, after redd55's post, and don't plan to tamper with the ticket at all. I didn't think the covered area mattered, but I figured I would cover just in case. Actually curious if the lottery would be able to tell me my # based on all the other info. I have never won on 30+ tickets, so maybe this is a sign.. The lottery person was also the one who sold me a $1K scratch off this year. Maybe she is my good luck charm. If/when I hear back, I will let you know..... [ More ]

THe areas you have redacted (left side of ticket)- Term: (insert the # example 00315470),Then Underneath it is a series of numbers : example: 6709-000057128993-00

are considered the File number for that specific ticket.

The term (aka Terminal) is the store machine # , the numbers underneath are UNIQUE to that specific paid game ticket.

Given that you have kept the pasted tape over the number may be your saving grace - Despite not knowing what the actual draw # is.

So I decided to purchase a raffle ticket. The cashier, who I am friends with, must not have taken the sticker off the new roll right. Well my ticket printed without a # on it, but it totally scans. I tested the scan and it does state Not a Winner, but drawings still remain .. Say I hit something requiring a claim form, will the PA lottery void this? Of course I won't know my # ahead of time and will have to wait til the next day to scan it. Appreciate the help.
