This is the third time sales for powerball has not created the annuity estimate. The jackpot was $274.7 bye the time it drew so I guess powerball fever is not alive yet but give a roll or two to see if we can't get more people to play.-wehar75

Well, that was a bust.

I matched no numbers for either the state or powerball lotteries. My numbers looked so lucky too.

My state lotto rolled over and now waiting to see what happens with the Power ball.

Woe is me.

It took from 11/7/2015 to 1/16/2016 (21 draws or 9 1/2 weeks) to reach $1.5 billion.

It was $900 mil on Sat 1/9/016 and jumped up to $1.5 billion on the next draw on Wed., 1/16/2016.

That's how frenzied people were.

Out of curiosity, I looked up what you were referring to. It appears they round up or down to the nearest million. Not sure of the accuracy since this is published before the actual drawing. Anyway, it is not rising as quickly as the big run off to the 1.5 billion jp in 2016. Still, 30-25 million a rollover is not bad and is due to increase the higher we get.

275 Million for Saturday Powerball. I hope someone from Michigan hit jackpot. So that it all they talk about on Detroit news. Some lady from Detroit area won 4 million from Michigan lottery. 7 mile from my house they got the ticket. It was on here under news front page.
