But not all pages automatically refresh. For example, most forum pages do not auto-refresh.

The popup PM notifications can be disabled in the Account Settings page (in the Options menu). Disabling the popup does not completely hide new PMs the Mail menu item will still turn red when a new PM is available.

If I had a FREEZE/UNFREEZE button that hovered using the same paradigm as the TOP-OF-PAGE button, I would use it. This may be technically impossible because I would need it to work only on the affected tab while I had another tab of Lottery Post open at the same time. Just a thought, not a must-have or anything.
