However, the individuals that actually control their state draw process also know this to be absolutely true, and, try to 'correct' what is a natural glitch in the game with these things called 'pre-tests.' I Have had a few draws where I have been off by 1 number for each number. posted a pick of a power ball draw a few years ago every number was 1 off. prob still on my facebook somewhere

What other parameters are there to be usedin a numbers game? You can actually only be one off or two-off three off or four off max on each digit in a win 4 draw.

True if someone buys quick picks or plays the same numbers every day. If someone has a system... i.e. trend or whatever, then being close is encouraging. I'm talking RNG computers, nothing man-made is totally random and as such, it can be predictable to a certain extent. Wana see random? Look at raindrops hitting a sidewalk during a rainstorm.

To me, one-offs don't make any difference. It doesn't matter if you're one-off, or twenty-off, you lost.

But here's the situation where I never want to have a one-off . I play the Pennsylvania Millionaire Raffle. Players don't get to pick numbers, the lottery terminal assigns the buyer of a ticket (or tickets) the next available six digit number.

No you don't. A miss is as good as a mile, and depending on the game the lottery picks balls or electrons. That the numbers associated with those balls or electrons have some relationship to the winning balls or electrons means nothing.

Real close. I go to USA Mega, hold my ticket up to the screen to compare my numbers against those drawn and if I'm not wearing my glasses, I have to get really close to the winning numbers to make 'em out.

Not going to disclose anything or asking for any number picking systems. But I have my own unique way of choosing numbers and often come close to the winning numbers.

My ticket for 05/31/2017 drawing. The first five numbers were just a few numbers off from the winning numbers.

Just thought it was something interesting to share. Or maybe I'm just grasping at straws
