This is a pretty foreign concept to me, being from Wisconisn. Last night, I went and bought a 7 day multi draw ticket for my favorite Wisconsin game, so that I have a ticket a day through next Wednesday, a few days into July. One might speculate that my state's budget had to have already passed if I was able to do that. However, I'm in Wisconsin, and the state continues to operate as is until the new budget passes. As of yesterday, they have a budget but it must be voted on and signed by the governor by Friday midnight.

Legislators must vote and Inslee must sign a budget by the end of Friday to replace the $38.2 billion, two-year operating budget approved in 2015.

Nope, no coverage as of yet and it came as a complete surprise when the clerk told me she could only give me the Mega Millions.

You got it, recess.....I dont know if a budget has been passed or if they left for the recess.

FYI: It seems WA State has to pass a budget as well as IL. Went to purchase my PB and MM tickets and could only buy MM because the draw is June 30. No other games that runs July 01 will not be sold until the budget is passed. The clerk told me more than likely it will be passed but until that time they shut down all games.

Will get my other game tickets tomorrow IF they pass the budget. What do these moronic politicians get paid for if they cant do their basic job requirements like pass a bud... [ More ]
