You are probably right in that Inslee will probably sign the budget, albeit 11:59 p.m. So why do this, get all the negative press, make people mad, it is all so unnecessary.

Yes, the good thing about the WA State lotto is you get two lines for $1. Buy one line for a buck and get a free line.

I've notices that TX has a lot of games to play which may be why their lottery does so well. Of course, having a large pop helps, too. CA state lotto stars at $7 mil and you're right. A lump sum minus taxes does not leave much. I have seen more than a few people win at $7 mil, though. How much is your state lotto? A dollar?

Anyway, I do believe the gov will be signing the budget tonight.

If WA state offered something like that I would not be playing. Not many new games come out of this place and $10 a ticket is pretty high for my blood.

Yes, I am playing the state lotto and PB if they get their S *^ together. I only play the state lotto once it hits $5 or $6 million because the cash value is half and then subtract your taxes, ugh. Right now it is $9.4 million with a $4.7 million cash value not a whole lot of cash when you consider it is almost a $10 million jackpot.

It looks like a scratcher where you can win up to $1 million. Then there are second chance prizes and a chance to win the billion. Not sure how they do that whether there is a raffle for people who entered there second chance tickets or what. I suspect it is going to have to run for a longgggg time before they have the money for a billion buck prize.
