I'm guessing from the amount of response, no one worries about the amount of history one uses to predict the numbers they use.

My old brain is loosing more memory than I wish to acknowledge. If it wasn't for programs the LP members so generously give, I would be buying Quick Picks.

I was just looking for a small program which would give me a more accurate average of the number of games it takes for all the numbers to hit in the total history of any game. I'm finding the amount of history you use in a program seems to change the results in some cases enough to miss the next draw numbers by one or two... [ More ]

On average each of the numbers in a 20/80 Keno game should be drawn once, but don't expect it. A good example is the 5/75 MM game where on average each number should be drawn once every 15 drawings though going back 15 drawings, 22 of the numbers were no shows. It would take at least 5 more drawings for all the numbers to be drawn if each of those 22 numbers are drawn.

I don't think he means it's easy, just how it should work in excel.

Has anyone made a program which would give the average number of games it would take for all the numbers in a Keno (P 70 - 80) or Lotto (P 5-6-7) game to hit?

All one would need to do is Paste the history of his game and the average would be calculated in Excel or possibly in graph form.
