Ever hear the Phrase You can't get there from Here .

I just took a Look at Georgia Midday Draw today. I then Set it as the Play State and Ran Every other Game looking for a hit. The Fact was the Georgia Draw was no where to be found in any State so You could Not Get there From Here.

This little workout may only be Niffty from an Excel Standpoint. Once again Random will likely sweep this into the Nifty Bone Pile.

A Few more days of life may be all this Idea has.

I just checked my version of Steve's File that I am using, and once again, I have messed up the file. I seam to have a tendency to use the Wrong Date when updating. Be Careful with this. Also be careful if you try the Delete Draws Macro. I sometimes get a Run Error when trying to delete a Sunday Evening Draw. I have messed up the file a few times and had to ask Steve for his current version, which he has patiently provided when I ask.

I Just downloaded Steve's File. I am Not sure Why but the Version that I get is updated to July 5th. If that happens to you, you will need to run the updates to get the file current.

There are 6 States involved. The First is the State Game that you are playing. The Next 5 use the Mirror of the Last Drawing in the Selected State, Does 6 Versions of +1+2 to Generate the 7 Combinations from that State to Play in the State Selected to Play.

I assume you are looking at the Excel File that I Posted. The Original Version did not contain the 10 (Not 8) Combinations that represent the top 2 Columns from Each State. I just posted a new link to Mediafire with the current version.

Yes I think it is key to find your sister state... For Indiana, I use TN. I always mirror the whole combo, then go up or down, but the mirror=+1 +2 then +1 is orderly, rather than all over the place. Let's face it, one combo mirrored and worked different ways can turn into a confusing mess. I tested a few midday TN draws and I LIKE IT!!

New York looks promising as well

You can use any Version of Steves File. Draws will be as current as the File you use.

I tried that too and it does work but excluded it because then you're dealing with too many numbers. But if you can find a sister state then it might be worth it.

AllenB, I like what you've done here. I tried doing it with pencil paper and got writers cramp and brain fog before I even got started.

If one state is good for another like VA for Cal does the same hold true in reverse I wonder.

I'm also thinking of maybe +1+2 in the 2nd or 3rd position, hmmm

Please Say it Ain't So Lottolaughs. I did a quick setup of a Table for all 1000 Combinations. The Table contains the Mirror and the 5 versions of your +1+2 instructions.

Using Steve's (Winsumlosum's) Pick3StateDraws.xlsm file as the Draw Data, I retrieved 5000 previous Draws from a State and compared them to 5000 Draws of California Daily 3 Combined. Running through a few States I found the Best Histories .

I guess I'm not too interested in back testing anymore. It's time to move forward in real time. Plus since everyone would be using different states drawings it would make it kind of hard...everyone's back test would have a different result therefore I really feel like back testing this particular system would be a waste of time.

Let's try this little workout and see what pops up where.

States and Mirrors?

Is there really such a thing?

Start by looking at yesterday's Midday Draws.

Pick 5 states whose midday draws contain only 3 unmatched numbers.

No doubles, No triples.

Try to find a good mix of numbers to use. Don't use all numbers that started with 1, for example. Pick 5 states with all different starting first digits.
