Even if there was a huge game with 1 trillion to one odds, it would still be way too easy for players in certain states like California to win it.

By 1 trillion do you mean the correct way (1,000,000,000,000,000,000/ One Million Million Million) or the American way (1,000,000,000,000; One Million Million)?

Anyway, if you play MM or PB for the odds, you're doing it wrong. There are plenty of games that offer better odds, better payouts, and often a cheaper price. You play the big two solely for the chance to completely change your life, odds be dammed.

Or looked at another way: a million is a thousand thousand. If you had 1 million dollars and spent 1 thousand dollars a day, you'd run out of money in less than 3 years.

I stopped playing those two long ago. I play the games with lower odds that also have attractive jackpots. I'd be more than happy with 350K or so. However, when the jp gets close to a half billion I must admit I do buy ONE ticket. lol

We all know how long MegaMillions and PowerBalls odds are. (Mega's will soon be even longer)

But do players appreciate/understand just how long they really are? I know I didn't until last night.

I saw a guy on TV who was talking about the failure of Republican Senators in The U.S. Senate to replace Obamacare. During the conversation with the TV show host, he made the following statement; Do you know how long a trillion seconds is? It's 31,000 years.
