Many are losing interest, making for a growing coverage problem.

Not sure, but think I bought PB 3 X since last matrix change,

MM maybe 4-5 X last 18 months, use to play both every draw.

Thought I would miss it more but turns out I don't even think about it much, not even paying attention to current JPs.

Some on here think these games will merge in the future...sounds right to me.

Now prefer C4L, LFL and my state pic6 and cash 5 games when the JP is big enough

I think ticket sales are motivated by the novelty of the jackpot. As time has marched on and we have racked up many yuge jackpots, people dont go as crazy as they use to. I remember when a $200 mil jackpot set off a frenzy but not any more.

In May of 2013 the Powerball had rolled 13 times and for the next drawing there were 464 million in ticket sales for that drawing which took the JP took 590 million. Right now the MM has rolled 26 times and the PB has rolled 14 times and the combined advertised JP between the two of them is 564 million. It took 14 drawings from just the PB 4 years ago to reach 590 million and now 4 years later after 40 drawings between the 2 games it cant even get that high.
