Has MM and PB ever been over 300 mil each at the same time?

This is the first time, but it's been close a few times in the past. On 7/8/16 MM was hit at $536 million when PB was at $288 million. PB rolled to $487 before being hit on 7/30. Almost 10 years ago PB was hit at $314 million on 8/25/07 and MM jumped to $330 million (from $250) when it rolled 3 days later.

That's some interesting trivia on an uneventful night. BTW, my brother-in-law from Toronto, who hardly ever plays the lottery, told me earlier today that he has an appointment with his doctor in Buffalo tomorrow, and will definitely buy a few lines of both games while he is there.

No. In fact the Powerball $286 million jackpot is the largest ever second place jackpot in the list of Worldwide Jackpots (link on left side of page).

If MM does roll over tonight, it goes up another $23 million to $346 million bucks. If PB rolls over tomorrow, it goes up $21 million to $307 million bucks.

And if PowerBall rolls tonight, it goes up $25 million to $286 million which is a lump sum of $178 million which is a whopping $107,512,000 after federal taxes. Very good
