Update

If you wont to use your own numbers instead of 1 to 45 add this to the script

$Mynumbers = 2,4,5,6,7,8,10,15,19,20,21,23,24,25,26,27,28,29,32,33,34,35,36,37,38,39,40

(Get-Random -InputObject ($Mynumbers) -Count 6 | sort-object ) -join ( ) | Out-File -Append -FilePath $file1

to the script

like this

Hi All

This is one Old scripts i used in the pasted

This a very simple lotto number generator written in Power shell code ,

To change it to work for other lotteries change 1..45 to 1..38 as 1 is the lowest number to pick and 38 is the highest number

change -Count 6 to -Count 3 if you only wont to pick 3 numbers only

(1..45| Get-Random -Count 6 | sort-object ) -join ( ) | Out-File -Append -FilePath $file1

What this script below does is generate 600 numbers between 1 to
