I am so pissed off right now. Bought 14 $5 tickets and only one $5 winner. Are you kidding me? The ticket's name is $500,000 in Grants. Horrible odds.

I have a similar question re the $7,000,000 Cash Blowout ticket, I'm a little confused. According to the NY Lottery website there are still 4 top prizes remaining yet it's listed as #21 on the list.

Yet the ticket that is listed as # 1 (Cash X 100) that has not been sold in months and apparently has only one top prize remaining is the better ticket to purchase? Is it because there are less tickets available, making it easier to win the top prize

We gather a bunch of data from the NY lottery from our Freedom of Information Requests we submit to them. Our calculation is based on the top three prizes, not just the very top prize. This will have an impact on what our ratings are.

Can you tell me why the odds for $7000000 cash blowout decreased if the top prize was not won? Same with $500000 in Grants. Last time you wrote that the factor is 5.5 and now it decreased when the top prizes stayed the same

Here's the ScratchSmarter Analysis for NY for this week - The higher the SmartFactor number, the better your odds of winning a top prize. if you can't find the VERY best game, go down the list and find the second or third ranked game. Don't play any games where the smartfactor value is below 1.0 - they aren't worth playing.
