Have cut way back on Powerball, since the price increase. And will do likewise with Mega Millions. It's not just the price going up, but the odds getting worse. After the next matrix change, winning even a few dollars will be more difficult with the addition of 10 more Megaballs to 25 total.

To make matters worse, the Megaplier odds are changing too. Right now, 5X is statistically weighted to come up much of the time (many players don't know that), but after the change, 2X and 3X will come up... [ More ]

Possible...not probable.

I did'nt blaze this trail...the powers keep upping the price and the odds, why ?

Bigger JPs attract more casual players.

I'm just giving them what they want...one more casual player.

I cut way back on Powerball when the price doubled. I'll cut back on Mega Millions when it's price doubles in a couple of months.

I will continue playing the minimum amount required. One ticket per draw. I play advance play for both PB MM.

Stopped being a regular on PB right after the last matrix change, then w/ MM I just kinda drifted into being an occasional player.

You know, like when the JP gets in the top 10...top 5 ?

So when MM makes their next change I'll just keep doing the same thing.

Odd thing is, I don't miss it as much as I thought I would.

Perhaps feeling a little disheartened about, one winner here, another there * both, not you. Or are you hunkering down, and not making any serious adjustments when it comes to playing the lottery?
