Libre Office and Apache Open Office are two projects that emerged out of Sun's open office product(After Oracle acquired Sun). Sun's open office was the open sourced version of star office(way back).These type of software are called Free Software. Not to be confused with freeware or donation ware. The source of these software are available online - you can go through them or build then on a different platform and so on. If you are a developer you can contribute to these products.

If there is good software why don't all the users with their systems do a little test and play on a live lottery. I have made that suggestion but people with so called systems are too afraid to go live in a test like that......Put that to rest and that should also show the creme of the crop so that lottery post users can decide for themselves.
