I buy my pb or mm tickets in DC and I work in DC. You can claim via a trust in DC. In VA you cannot and they publicize your name and pic forever.

I would not go so far to say that RNG and physical balls are the same thing. Surely there is a possibility for cheating in both games but with RNG there cannot be a large conspiracy to cheat. (I hope not anyway)

I am considering going with the Pick 3 games now and have to decide if I'm going to do the online route as I cannot by principal play random number generator games.

Why not jump on the Pick3 bandwagon there Jeet ? You can make some money to use for jackpot games. You do realize RNG and mechanical balls are exactly the same......BOTH are programmed. But people still prefer mechanical balls

I began following the lottery in 2000. At the time, I was following only D.C., Maryland, and Virginia, because that was what was in the newspaper, and I did not know you could get the results online (I was also 14 years old).

I live in VA but buy my tickets in DC. In VA, you cannot claim via a trust and they post winner pics everywhere. In DC, you can claim via a trust. The last pb winner in DC claimed via a trust around 2009. MD is best for playing since it is an anonymous winner state.

Part of northern VA was originally a part of DC a long time ago.

If you buy in DC but live in another state, DC gets the state taxes. If DC'S rate is higher, you do not pay the same tax or any to your state. Last time I checked... [ More ]

Thats a good question.

Looking for a good lotto game to play. Dont seem to be many left, and I choose not to play the pick 3 because its RNG where I am. (May have to play online) But I am concerned about the legal ramifications, and ability to withdraw funds.

I am also curious about the implications of a Billion Dollar MUSL JP being won in SWAMPLAND.

I am not sure, and I guess i could Google it, but I haven't yet. I did Google a map of the District of Columbia, and it appears that D.C. overlaps, two states.

Maryland, and Virginia. So my questions are as follows,

1)Can you play BOTH the Maryland lottery games, AND the Virginia games, while in D.C.?

2)Does D.C. have its own Lottery Corporation?

3)If you buy a Mega Millions Lottery ticket in D.C. and you win, do you have to pay state taxes, for both the states of Maryland and Virgin... [ More ]
