Yep, and I wonder if one of them realizes before he moves out of the third world theocratic failed state , he'll first need to move out of his parent's basement?

I worked at a liquor store while going back to school and while it certainly wasn't in any major metropolitan area such as you live in, there was an uptick in noon business, esp. those using the drive through. I always figured it was b/c they had a few nips at work or didn't want to be seen buying booze during the usual post 5 p.m... [ More ]

I have been playing in coming up on 5 decades now and I have spent lots of money during that time.

Not only have I never had a winner that I have had to file a claim on but they keep making the games harder to win.

There are too many games with too few winners of decent prizes on top of the odds getting worse.

Maybe your question should be either What 'sacrifices' will you stop making now? or maybe what 'sacrifices' will you continue to make

Sacrifice? Not me. Its a hobby. Some people collect coins, stamps or whatever. I don't deny myself money for this and it doesn't create a hardship. I have fun trying to predict the next day's numbers. If I drop a few bucks a day, so be it. Its my money and it brings me pleasure. Where else can you go to sleep dreaming to become a millionaire when you wake up the next day. LOL

I skipped lunch Wednesday to buy my tickets at a new place (for me) in DC. I knew I had to be in a long late morning meeting at another location and I had found a liquor store nearby with Todd's app. But by the time I got back after I made a wrong turn, but with my tickets, the lunch break was over.

And why are so many people in line at a liquor store midweek at lunch time
